A few loose ends.
Can I order a dress today?
Not yet. We’re finding makers and learning what designers want. Joining tells us you’re interested. It doesn’t place an order or guarantee a match.
What is a .dress file?
It’s a design export from Dressmaker’s Photo Mode. It lets the game display your dress again. Uploading one here is optional.
Will my dress look exactly like the game?
That’s something a real maker would discuss with you. Fabrics, construction and fit may need changes. We’re still figuring out how this will work. We don’t have an online dress viewer yet.
How much would a real dress cost?
It depends on the maker, fabric and complexity. Custom work can cost several hundred dollars or more. We’ll need real quotes before suggesting a price for your design.
Who sees my file?
We may open your file in the game to see your design and work out how a maker could recreate it. It won’t go in a public gallery or to a maker without your permission.
